Equipping Parents and Carers with
Knowledge & Understanding

Your Family

How we can help...

We provide professional, honest and transparent support, advice and guidance to parents and carers of children with challenging behaviour and special educational needs.

If your child is experiencing difficulties at school or at home, we will be by your side to help you achieve the best possible outcome for them and their future success.

We can support you with challenges due to: mental health, learning difficulties, peer pressure, bullying, exclusion or risk of exclusion, safeguarding, family breakdown, being placed into care or change of care placement, or for any other unknown reason.

We would love to talk to you further about your child's individual needs. We offer a FREE 30 minute call to talk through your concerns and help you to find a way forward.

Our Process

We spend time with you and your child, listening to your individual experience, history, concerns and how you would like to move forward.

This could involve:

  • Meeting face to face (in person or online)

  • Reading through any paperwork, assessments, emails or other documentation

  • Conversations with school/college staff

We identify positive steps to move forward, taking into account what you and your child would like to achieve.

This could involve:

  • A brief written report with our recommendations

  • Initial contact or conversations with other agencies

  • Arranging meetings with school staff or other professionals

We will hold your hand throughout the entire process, assessing and evaluating our progress along the way.

This could include:

  • Formal assessments

  • Writing formal responses or applications (e.g. applying for a Needs Assessment- Education, Health, Care Plan)

  • Attending meetings with you (virtually or in person)

  • Observations at home or in school

  • Working closely with you on tried and tested strategies to support you and your child within the home or at school

  • Being a bridge between home and school to ensure your child makes progress and their needs are being met

Parent- Young Person Aged 12

"Reah’s expertise and professionalism has supported both me and my daughter. Reah has been able to help me to access other professionals and resources, and worked with my daughter's school to improve her provision."

Foster Carer- Young Person Aged 10

“We got the school of our choice in the end. It came down to the detailed reports of Reah and her professional expertise in this field. We wouldn't be in the position we are in now if it wasn't for Reah.”

Foster Carer- Young Person Aged 12

"Reah has helped build my confidence as a carer when attending meetings encouraging me to speak up more, rather then just listen. She has given me a better understanding into how policies and procedure work."
